AC Installation · Tomball and northwest Houston
AC installation, surveyed before it is quoted
New systems sized to the house and its ductwork, with American Standard equipment and financing through Wisetack.
Load and ducts are checked first, and the model is chosen after them
A replacement system is only as good as the numbers it is matched to. Before a model is chosen, the technician looks at the house: square footage, how much sun the windows take, how well the attic is insulated, and what the existing equipment has been asked to do. A unit picked by tonnage alone tends to run oversized, which cools the air fast and leaves the humidity behind in a Gulf Coast summer.
Then the ductwork gets the same attention, because a new condenser cannot fix a duct that leaks into the attic. Supply and return sizes, the joints, and the run to each room are read before the quote is written. In new construction ASR has run insulated flex duct between the floor joists, and the same attention applies when the house is already built and the ducts are hidden above the ceiling.

The equipment is named on the quote: American Standard, from an American Standard dealer
ASR Mechanical is an American Standard dealer and carries the Customer Care Dealer mark, so the condenser, the coil and the air handler or furnace are matched as one system and written out by model. Bailey Curtis wrote: “ASR installed both my AC and Heater a few years ago, and I've always used them for check ups and service.” That is the relationship an install is meant to start, not a single invoice.
A new system is a large purchase, so ASR partners with Wisetack for financing. The application takes about a minute, and checking options does not impact your credit score. Projects up to $25,000*, with terms from 3 to 60 months*. * All financing is subject to credit approval. Terms may vary. The full published terms, including the example payment, sit on the financing page.
Start-up, commissioning, and the check ups that follow
The install is not finished when the last panel is screwed on. At start-up the technician brings the system up, reads the pressures and the temperature drop across the coil, and confirms the thermostat, the condensate drain and the filter access all work as they should. You are shown where the filter lives and how to change it before anyone leaves the house.
The first summer is the real test of a new system, which is why an annual check up is worth booking from year one. Bailey Curtis still books an annual summer check up on the system ASR installed. ASR is family owned in Tomball since 1997 and holds Texas HVAC license TACLA85163E. To have a house surveyed before a model is named, call (281) 351-5354.

The heat the house takes on
Square footage, window sun and attic insulation set the size of the system, not the old nameplate.
Ducts
Where the air actually goes
Supply and return sizes and joints read before any model is named on the quote.

Financing terms are set out in full on the financing page. A furnace and air handler go in on the same footing, covered under heating installation, and an older system that only needs a part is a job for AC repair.
